US Airways 1241 (Boeing 737-400) landed in TPA on June 27th. On this landing, the front tires blew out. No injuries were reported, but Billy Mays was aboard, who sadly died at age 50, unrelated to the accident.

A Qantas flight from Hong Kong to Perth experienced severe turbulence, (QF68). Of note, the aircraft involved in the incident is an Airbus A330, although Qantas does not believe the A330 being a factor.
