I didn't have time to ask for a forecast before hopping on this one today. Smooth at 39,000 feet but had to descend due to air traffic about 300 miles away. Pilot told us that the winds were gusting to 25 mph and there would be bumps. Actually, not too bad until we passed through the lower cloud deck and then it was rock and roll time. Passengers applauded when we landed, so I guess I wasn't the only one gripping those armrests. Just wondering if this would have been the prediction.

I don't get as specific as I used to (because it's hard to be specific without sounding silly), but yeah, lots of tall buildings and a little wind, landing in LGA would be slightly rocky, but I don't think it was probably that bad (just a little uncomfortable).
