Hi all

Have always been uneasy flying. I went to Hawaii a year from last November and flying there was great! But the return was the worst (and longest) turbulence I had ever experienced. Well, I'm heading back on March 15th.

Do you guys find that it helps to check the turbulence forecast before boarding or does it make it worse? I guess it depends on how much red you see :D

Anyone have an idea on bad it could be? I know its pretty unpredictable but it is close to the end of the 'winter' season so hopefully it won't be bad..

THanks!

It's a total coin toss, but I'm seeing moderate in the area right now. It just depends on when you're going.

And for me, when I travel, I can't resist looking, although it is my site :)

It helps me so I know when to order a cocktail and how many. :)

Leaving in two hrs. From the looks of things it should be okay. Hopefully!!

I always like to look ahead of time and see what I can expect on my flight. It gives me a sense of security to know what I may encounter up there! I love flying, but turbulence can be a pain. It's always helpful for me to feel prepared when I step onto the plane :)

I agree to last post. Turbulence is a pain - I hate 'dipping' in turbs. Just hand me a brandy and a handful of valium. Thanks..
