Hi Everyone-

I am heading to Europe for a summer internship, flying DTW-AMS on May 12. As a phobic flier, I have found many of the discussions here very helpful in arming myself with information before hopping on a plane! I just had a few quick q's that I was wondering if anyone knew the answer to:

1. I am flying on Delta, on an ex-NWA 767-300. Anyone know what I should expect? Are these decent planes? What about IFE? Delta's website was unclear...
2. Is it possible to find out which track my flight is going to be taking across the atlantic, ideally before I am on the flight, but even then, would the pilots tell me if I ask?
3. I have been looking at the various weather maps here, and I have found bits of info on how to read them, but I would love to know what all the symbols mean, etc. Especially for the north atlantic weather maps, is there somewhere I could go to find a detailed key?

Thanks everyone!

1. If it's a 767 it was always a Delta plane. If you mean 757, then it could be ex-NWA.
2. It's pretty much impossible to know before hand, talk to the pilots about your concerns while boarding.
3. The maps are almost always explained on the page that has them. If you have questions about a particular map, please post the url here.

I'm so sorry, I meant Airbus A330-300, not 767. My mind is fuzzy during finals...

No worries, good luck on finals. A330 has video on demand on all seats. Check www.seatguru.com for more information.
