Takeoff in JFK should be fine, winds are low.
The flight inbetween should be ok, with only occasional periods of light-moderate turbulence.
Landing in LGB should be ok by the time you arrive. Winds are currently very high (gusts to 50mph), which is why you see severe markings on the report maps, however, these winds are due to subside.

All in all, it should be a good flight.
