Flying over Africa

Hello all, just wondering about flying over Africa at this time of year?

Due to fly from Brussels to Kigali next week (daylight) and back after 10 days (night) - any thoughts on routes and general conditions?

Well, near the equator always some showers/thunderstorms so you might hit some turbulence there. They might be isolated which is a stunning sight as they can be HUGE!
Day/night not really a difference probably. Waiting for your request, hope I have time for that as I'm quite busy.
