Hi,

I'm really freaked out about turbulence and was wondering how a flight to Las Vegas from New York tomorrow monring (around noon) would be?

When you are flying over the mountain states, turbulence is oftentimes a given. That being said, I don't think the flight will be that bad. Takeoff and the majority of the flight should be smooth, and looking at the flight tracks, it does seem that a lot of airlines try to fly around the various areas of turbulence. It will be gusty at LAS, so you might expect some bumps upon landing, and maybe some light to moderate near CO.
