Hi,

As a nervous flyer, yesterday was scary. The flight from Fort Myers to Detroit was bumpy. I have to say though I feel good that the pilot told us this at the very beginning and that was reassuring. The landing actually went really well. I feel like I"m starting to understand turbulence better and pretend it's like hitting potholes. On my flight from Detroit to Hartford, it was pretty smooth until the descent. I experienced my first air pocket dip where everyone kind of goes "whooo" but otherwise it was fine. I honestly feel like this was a good experience for me. I feel like i'm gaining confidence!

Like anything else in life, it pays to practice. Given your city pairs, are you flying Northwest? They are known for having the best turbulence intelligence available (so much in fact, that they sell the information to Southwest).
