DL 5055 PIT-JFK, KL 642 JFK-AMS (7/2)

I know TA flights are hard to predict, but I am getting nervous after looking at the storm system moving east. Any prediction (or report of how the Atlantic has been lately) would be great. Thanks!

For this TA flight, I think at the beginning there might be some chop between PIT and JFK (more likely due to jet stream then storms), and out of JFK for a bit, but after you are away from JFK, just occasional periods of light-moderate as you pass through areas that the jet stream is stronger. I think overall a better Atlantic flight. On the bright side, you get to ride a Boeing 777, a superior handler in turbulence as compared to the Airbus products.

In order to improve my TA forecasts, please post a report on this thread when you can, so I can compare what I said, and what happened.
