This is in regards to flying from East Coast US to Europe. Just wondering if there was a so called good time of the year to fly over the atlantic.

I think a good time to fly that route is in the summer when the jet stream is way up to the north. See this page here: http://www.turbulenceforecast.com/jetstream.php

Also, Northwest Airlines is the best at dodging the bumps, so you may want to take them. As an aside, the WorldGateway is a really nice place to connect.
