2/21 morning from DSM to PHX

We are leaving tomorrow morning 2/21 from Des Moines to Phoenix direct on America West Regional Jet. From the jet stream forecast it looks to be a relatively smooth ride. Just concerned as I have my kids with me. What are your thoughts?

Also, we are returning Sunday 2/25 same route PHX to DSM in the morning hours. What should that be like?

You are right, this looks like a fairly decent ride. I think perhaps a few bumps as some of your flight path is covered in a potential turbulence zone. Not too hot in PHX, so you won't have the famous Phoenix landing (bumpy).

As for the return, it's too far in the future to predict (just like the weather), but please feel free to post a new thread on the board the day before you leave for your return forecast.

Update: It may get a little bumpy at times, especially near Colorado.
