-connection to-

Flight : American Airlines 5158 ATR72 TURBOPROP
Departure: SAN JUAN PR 9:10 PM
Arrival: ST CROIX 9:50 PM

the weather here in NYC is getting a bit icky and i'm getting nervous as h*ll! what do you think? even though the connection is on a turboprop (which of course i hate) it's a quick flight so i think i can deal with it ok. i'm worried about turbulence on the JFK-SJU portion mainly. any thoughts would be really appreciated!!

I think it might be a little bit bumpy out of JFK for a bit, but you'll climb quickly. Winter weather is nothing really to worry about most of the times, I flew through this blizzard one time it was completely smooth, and was interesting to see the snowflakes fly by the plane to quickly. I wasn't so amused by a runway caked with snow as we landed, but I'm still here.

Once a few hundred miles out of JFK, I don't think you'll hit much of any bumps on the way, so you should be ok.

In summary, the worse will be over very quickly.

Enjoy your trip and be sure to report back.

thank you very much, that helps. even if it is a bit bumpy on the way out, at least i'll have a heads up and will know it's more "expected." i'll let you know how it goes and thx again!

Hi
The weather is getting really crappy-AAL says the flight is still going. If that's the case, can you give me any more thoughts on what the flight out will be like? I imagine it's just a matter of getting up and out of JFK. I'm really nervous! thx again
