I have read your comment on the difficulties of transatlantic forecasts but would be very grateful for a try

DAL 67 departs ZRH 10:10am, arriving ATL 02:40pm aircraft B763
DAL 833 departs ATL 05:30pm, arriving LAS 07:00pm aircraft B757

Thank you very much for your help

There's a strong jet stream going the other way, but I doubt you'll fly near it. It should be smooth for most of ZRH-ATL. As for ATL-LAS, I think if you hit any bumps, it will be near ATL (same for the inbound ATL flight) and it should smooth out for most of your ATL-LAS journey.

Landing in LAS can be bumpy due to heat.

I'd like to hear a report back when you fly it and have a chance.

Apologies for the delay in reporting back, just returned from the US. Your forecast turned out to be really accurate: very smooth TATL flight, just the usual bumps over the Irish Sea (never experienced a smooth flight there) and a little shaking and rattling out over the Atlantic before reaching Canada (the flight had a comparatively northern routing clipping the southern tip of Greenland) plus a few bumps between Kentucky and ATL. All in all one of the smoothest TATL flights in a long time.

Similar story from ATL to LAS: only a few bumps on take-off from ATL and just before landing in LAS (pilot announced chance of some significant turbulence over the intercom and asked FAs to sit down 30min prior to landing, however, these luckily did not actually materialize)

Thank you very much for your help
