Out of SLC, it could be up to moderate-severe (as you might see on the current advisories), but I'd guess moderate at the most (better than average chance), smoothing out to ORD and out of ORD. Into JFK shouldn't be much to talk about, but it might roughen up a bit towards PWM (up to moderate, due to plane size).
So, in summary, starts a bit rough, smooth in the middle, and a bit rough towards the end. I wouldn't worry too much about the advisory over the west. Sure, there is a severe advisory, but it's for rather high altitudes and A319's typically don't go that high (lower service ceiling than a 737), so you should be ok. And if it is rough, it should be over really quickly, giving you a good way to 'get used' to it knowing it'll be over soon.
Safe flight, and a report would be appreciated.

Flight departed SLC this morning at 8AM to clear, sunny skies. It was probably the smoothest climb I've ever had out of SLC. About 20 minutes east of DEN we got caught in some weather. Continuous light chop with several periods of moderate even after the pilot followed the NW flight ahead of us and deviated to the north. Overall a very good flight.
Left ORD in overcast skies. Smooth flight all the way into LGA. We had a fantastic approach from the south, headed north up the Hudson river above the city at FL300.
Left LGA in sunny skies. About 40 minutes into the flight we hit weather which produced some light chop, but nothing worse than that all the way into PWM.
Overall three great flights with only a short period of moderate around DEN.
Thanks for the forecast!
