Connecting from CLT-IAD on USA1854... Airbus 319 aircraft...

Overall, mostly smooth. Some bumps for small periods over the Atlantic for a bit are possible, and again as you come south towards the US east coast. Some bumps possible between CLT-IAD. None of these should be more than light, or light moderate.

Your prediction was pretty accurate... The trip across the Atlantic was fine, with about 30 minutes of bumps about halfway across. We did hit some turbulence over the east coast (as you forecast), but the pilot classified it as "moderate with occassional strong jolts". It lwas really uncomfortable and forced the flight attendants to be seated. It lasted for about 2 hours until we hit the DC area, where it smoothed out again.

CLT-IAD was smooth with no significant bumps to speak of...
