Leaving CLT at 11:30 am (EST) on 6/14 going to LAS. How does this look? Thanks!

Looks pretty favorable. On such a long flight though, there might be periods of light (less than average chance), and a slight possibility of some moderate.

Flight was fairly smooth once we took off. Flight was scheduled for 11:30 am. We did not take off until 7 pm. What a horrible day at the airport with no explaination from US Air. They have a 1 pm flight to LAS that leaves from the same gate. What really made lots of people angry was the 1 pm flight (exact same type of aircraft going to LAS) left basically on-time. Your forecast was right on though. Some light bumps but that is to be expected at some point when crossing the country. I really like your this website!

I'm glad you enjoy the site. I'm not sure what the deal was with US Airways though.

Just a quick note to shed some light on what is often a frustrating experience for delayed passengers. You commented that you don't understand why they didn't send the 1130AM passengers on the plane they used for the 100PM flight. Quite simply it's because you were already delayed for whatever reason. If they took the 100PM aircraft and sent you out on it, then the passengers for the 100PM flight would have been delayed.
Look at it this way...you have 150 delayed passengers who have already missed connections, etc. Why add another 150 to the mix? The last thing you want to do is create a domino effect. I know it's frustrating, but the goal of the airline is to impact as few people as possible.
Now, as for the customer service aspect of not telling you about the delay or keeping you informed...that's inexcusable on the part of US.
