I'd love a forecast for my flight tomorrow from Portland, OR to Minneapolis/St. Paul, departing Portland at 2.15pm. Thanks!

Probably just a little bit of light turbulence possible (Dakotas, Montana), but mostly smooth. Safe flight.

I hope it was alright. I saw that it got pretty rough for a while in your flight path. Not sure where the flare up came from, but these things do happen. Hopefully Northwest had better information than I did. It looks like all the turbulence was at 26,000 and up.
Edit: Where you on NWA598? Looks like they descended to 23,000ft, well under the bumps, a bit west of the Montana border to North Dakota.
Descent started

The forecast you provided was right on the money. A few bumps in the Dakotas, but nothing major. We did descend quite a bit (I had no idea it was down so low) to avoid turbulence, and all in all the flight was pretty good. (Return flight today out of MSP, however, was a bit rough on takeoff--good winds really blew the plane around up to about 1,000'. Not fun.) Thanks very mcuh for this great website!
