The first flight, CO340, is on a 737-800. It's a short flight, but with the ongoing storms in TX it has me pretty anxious...
The second flight, CO424, is on a 737-300. I'm still worried about the storm issue here, but it's also my first time flying down to Mexico over the rough mountainous terrain.
What can I expect from these guys?
Thanks!

Storms might be a problem, but most of the time they are avoided well, so they aren't a problem. Outside of any storm activity, I don't see any other turbulence generators on your path, so all you have to worry about is storms.
COA is pretty decent, so I wouldn't worry.
If there are winds over the mountains, turbulence might be an issue, but I just don't know much about the region to say for sure, other than to say I wouldn't dwell on it too much. It's not anything like the Rockies.
Safe flight.

Flights were pretty good. There were towering clouds all around Houston, but the pilots did a great job of getting around them. Once out of that area, things were smooth pretty much all the way down to Mexico City. There were a few bumps as we flew in the vicinity of the big guys, but good flights overall...
