8/14 Coa 240 & Coa252 Aus-iah-ewr

IAH-EWR on COA52 (767-200)
8:00AM - 12:38PM

What can I expect? I looked at the winds and saw we'll more than likely be flying through some pretty intense stuff at cruise (100+mph winds).

I wrote up a reply last night, but I apparently never hit send.

It should be smooth, despite what seems to be high level winds at altitude. I've flown through even faster and it was completely smooth. It's not quite like winds on the ground.

The AUS-IAH segment was fine. There was a great lightshow going on to the south of us and it entertained me pretty much the whole flight. Nice and smooth.

The IAH-EWR segment was a little bumpier. We went to FL390 and it was a good ride until over northern KY and OH where it got a little rough. We climbed up to FL410 where it was a lot smoother.

Overall, very close to your prediction so thanks. :)
