Headed back the opposite direction tomorrow, 8/18...

COA49 EWR-IAH
7:45AM - 10:34AM
767-200

COA741 IAH-AUS
11:05AM - 12:03PM
737-500

I'm most worried about getting into and out of IAH with the tropical depression and all. I'm expecting that part of the flights to be really bumpy, but you might have some words of wisdom for me...

I think you will have a good chance of some light-moderate turbulence due to jet stream activity near EWR and out for a while, but clearing up. Perhaps a few bumps are in order nearer to TX, but the worse will probably be out of EWR. Safe flight.

Really no significant turbulence to mention on either flight. There were a few bumps climbing out of EWR due to some surface winds, but the seatbelt signed dinged off and stayed off all the way to IAH. The short hop to AUS was fine other than climbing and descending through those darn puffy clouds.
