I don't think you'll encounter much of anything, perhaps a few jet stream related bumps (light) depending on where the jet stream is (passing through the UK now). Should be mostly smooth.

Right on the money - as usual. The only bumps of note were a fair bit during the descent, but in general that doesn't bother me cos the end is in sight.
One question: how do you do it? All the aviation maps I looked at showed a band of moderate or even moderate/severe CAT predicted - while I know the airline will avoid this when possible, I can't see how they did in this case?!

Which maps were you looking at? I just look at the ones on this site, nothing more than that.

The Jeppesen ones are very nice, I'll have to consult those more often (the turbulence maps that they offer, that is).
