Frankfurt or Munich

I'm have a business trip in a few months in Nuremberg. FRA and MUC look about the same distance. I've flown into MUC before and it is a nice airport. I know that FRA is one of Europe's largest. For those that may have done both what's your choice? Is FRA the "Chicago" of Europe where I run more of a chance of delays? Should I stick with what I know with MUC. Clearly FRA offers more ops from the US. Thanks.

Frankfurt is big, and my wife has stories of having to frantically run across the thing trying to catch a connecting flight. If Munich is a smaller airport and the flights are the same timing and cost, I would probably go with Munich and forgoe the 'experience' of Frankfurt.
