    OK, going to Germany from NY at the beginning of October. First a CRJ 900, then Airbus 330. Anythought on the 330 (I know the CRJ is small) turbulence wise?

    It's a big craft, so it rides better in turbulence than a smaller craft. If you poke around www.askcaptainlim.com he seems to prefer the Boeing 777 as opposed to the Airbus 340, which is very close to the 330.

    I've found the CRJ900 to be surprisingly comfortable and to handle well on predicted turbulence days. Then again I've flown them on NWA and they are the best at avoiding turbulence.
