    Default 3/1/09 - Jet Blue 372 - FLL to LGA - 9:42am

I'm afraid to even ask because the Jeppesen maps look terrible...we were originally going home on Monday but changed our flight to tomorrow bc of the snow. We need to be back at work on Tuesday so we couldn't take the chance of not getting home.

It looks like tomorrow will be terrible.

    I am dreading this.

I honestly think it'll be fine. You'll notice the Jeppesen maps are more numerous now. I have the high and low split ones, which paint a more accurate and less dire picture. There may be a few bumps, but I don't think as terrible as you think they'll be.

It wasn't terrible - it was basically light to moderate for the entire duration of the flight. Seat belt sign was on for the last hour plus and they actually had the flight attendants prepare the cabin for landing at the time of the initial descent so they could remain seated for the last half hour.

It could have been worse and I'm glad to be home tonight, rather than rotting away at the airport tomorrow which is likely what would have happened.

Thanks, as always, for your help.

I was bummed when I saw the PIREP maps today. On the bright side, I think what you experienced is probably the worse you'll ever experience (and indeed, what most people will experience), so it wasn't THAT bad, was it? Just more annoying. Sorry it wasn't better, but the report will help me for future forecasts.

No, it wasn't that bad. In hindsight, it always seems like it wasn't that bad. If only I could feel that way when I'm actually on the plane!

Anyway, the flight we were supposed to be on today wound up being cancelled so I'm glad we returned when we did.

    All's well that ends well!
