First time flier here, been through all the fear of flight stuff and was feeling pretty good, but am now concerned about how the smaller EMB-145 will handle the turbulence. Any good news for me? Thanks in advance for your help.

Should be pretty decent. Just some light is likely. Smaller jets are more sensitive, no doubt, but tomorrow isn't a bad day to fly.

Thank you so much! Very reassuring words. I was concerned about the timing of the takeoff with the passage of the strong cold front through the region, but I take it I should not be concerned? Thanks again.

Thank you so much for the information! My flight was surprisingly smooth, with more turbulence landing in KSTL than taking off at KIAD (both were light, possibly moderate at worst). Even as a first-time flier, I never felt any fear thanks in part to the information on this site. Thank you again!
