Some occasional light bumps here and there, but nothing serious I don't think. Probably out of STL will be the roughest, smoothing out a bit for the rest of the flight.

what about over the rocky mountains?
how rough do you think it will be around stl?

im coming back on the 13th. I notice that there will be a huge warmup. Does that mean it is going to be turbulent?

    thanks

Probably light to moderate over STL. The warm up is relatively meaningless as far as turbulence goes and it's just too hard to say that far out. The jet stream matters most. If the jet is to the north out of your flight path as is what happens when it gets warmer, then it could be a smoother flight.

sorry one last question. I might have wifi on the plane. I will try to give updates on the plane.

Last time i flew back from Vegas to chicago I encountered moderate turbulence the whole way. Was it because of the low pressure system?

Could be the low, likely to be the jet stream though.

flight was smooth. some light/moderate turbulence for 5-10 mins around teh Colorado/Kansas state line.
Then another 5-10 mins of light/moderate around Utah/NM state line.
