    Default 3/21 MTJ-DEN-IND UA6070 3:19pm and UA3544 5:33 pm

    Hi there!

It's time for our annual spring trip home, though this is the first time we're flying from MTJ during the windy season Both flights will be on an ERJ and I'm hoping there's not to much going on in terms of weather/turb! Thanks in advance for your forecast!

MTJ-DEN, light is likely, with some moderate. DEN-IND, moderate is probably likely, perhaps a bit of severe. It's been nasty in that area but hopefully it'll calm down by your flight time. Remember that I forecast worst case scenario. I'd recommend checking the mobile site, or iPhone app before you board for the latest.

Well crap, that's not what I was hoping to hear! I guess it'll be xanax and a trashy magazine for me this evening. If you happen to get a chance to review the maps later today for any improvement that would be awesome (if not that's ok, too). I'll post a report of the trip tomorrow as well.

    Thanks!

Looks like it calmed down quite a bit, which is good.

Thanks for taking the time to check, I had been a wreck all day. Still lots of color on the map out of Denver, but the PIREPS don't look too bad and if we get through the worst while it's still light outside I think I can manage. Thanks again!

Just randomly looking over the board and thought i would chime in with a graphic if that is okay. I agree, Looks good, and a lot better than earlier...The green box is new Sigmet out for Turb FL330-390. The white line is your filed flight plan, so you are just north of the area. But you will still cross the Jetstream heading north (blue line).
