I'm flying early tomorrow morning to San Francisco, and am concerned about the thunderstorms they're forecasting. Can you give any updated insight into what I can expect? Thanks!

Storms are hard to forecast where they are going to be, generally they are avoided so hopefully you'll not have to worry about them, but they can cause some bumps. So, some bumps out of PHL for a while, smoothing out, with occasional light, with a touch of moderate here and there as you cross the country, overall though, not too bad.

Thanks for the forecast! It was extremely smooth on takeoff, with just very light turbulence scattered throughout the whole thing. My husband said there were some moderate shakes while I was sleeping, but I figure if it wasn't enough to wake me, then they can't have been all that bad...
The worst part about the whole flight was the woman across from me who spent ten minutes clipping her nails; but I guess some things just can't be helped!
