Hi,
I'm flying to Heathrow tomorrow night from Toronto and am worried about the scattered thunderstorms in the Toronto area on the way out. Also how can I tell what the eastbound atlantic crossing will be like?
Thanks!

Depends where the storms are, they can cause some bumps. Overall it looks really nice, once you get out of YYZ for a bit and start the ocean crossing, it looks really nice. The tracks are free of any obstacles (as they show now), but given the late time tomorrow, I'd recommend checking the tracks for tomorrow.

Since the flight is still 6 hours out any chance I could get an update. What is flying through cumulus clouds that aren't yet producing thunder like? How long will it take to clear the Toronto area because the rest of the map looks ok!
Thanks again!!
Hello. Transatlantic crossing looks really good, I've rarely seen it look so good. Clouds can be bumpy, but typically nothing terrible. There is a strong jet though coming down through Canada, so you'll hit some light to moderate for about 20 minutes or so as you cross it, but after that, you should be good for the crossing.
You can see the jet on this map

I wouldn't worry too much, you've got a pretty fantastic flight path once you're out of the soup of the weather (which I'm not showing over YYZ right now), and once east of that jet.
