As a preview, I don't think it looks too bad, but I'll look again tomorrow for a more accurate guess.

This is a tough forecast, the maps conflict a little and shade in quickly for tomorrow. I'm seeing moderate today though in the vicinity of MDW and I think this trend will continue through tomorrow. I think with storms nearing ATL and also around FL and the jet shading in the maps tomorrow, I'd expect light to moderate possible for a lot of the flight, especially the second half. Keep in mind I always predict worst case, and that when it looks to be rough it isn't, and vice versa and all that.

Thanks for the forecast. I had to go home a day early (5/30) on the first available flight due to a family emergency. Reading your forecast, maybe it was just as well! Flight was 3pm from RSW-ORD. Pilot said that it would be smooth but it was light with a little moderate as soon as we left FL. He changed altitude at least once to try to avoid bumps but not much improvement. His landing was extremely rough, and when I left the plane I asked him about that. He said "Sorry but I had to land on autopilot." It was partly cloudy on the approach and only one thick cloud bank probably at about 10,000 feet, but once we broke through that, the visibility was good, partly sunny. Why wd he have to use autopilot, and is that commonly done at landing?
