    Default Flight on 12/30

    Hi everyone-

My last flight to Florida was insane. The plane was going up and down like a spring for about 45 minutes. I was never afraid to fly before that experience. I am going to Florida again tomorrow- Newark to Ft Lauderdale at 1:30. Can any experts predict the turbulence? Is my last experience likely to repeat itself? On that flight, even the adults were crying. Becuase they predict showers in Fl, does it mean a bumpy and terrifying landing? Thanks!

I'm sorry I missed this forecast, I could not get near a computer that day. How was it?

I flew home from Orlando that day and it was pretty smooth out of Florida. We stayed pretty much at FL25 the entire way back to Calgary Alberta because at FL35+ had sustained moderate chop. Needless to say, it was still very choppy, but it was not that bad (considering now that I am not freaked out by flying like I used to be).

Flew NW, so I wonder if there were other flights at the higher altitudes that were getting bumped around more.

A turbulence forecast for this flight? My flight on 12/30 was moderate turbulence (I survived!)

Sorry, you didn't send me a private message and I didn't see this forecast.
