    Default 11/7 Bos-atl Dal663 Atl-las Dal645

Depart BOS at 7:15am and connect/depart ATL at 11:15am. I've looked at the maps and I'm a little concerned about the jetstream. If I had to make an educated guess, I would say light to moderate turbulence throughout. I'm cursed!

Thanks for you help in advance.

I think there may be some periods of light, possible some moderate, but at this point I don't think it would be for prolonged periods. Your path kind of goes around the jet stream. It should not be too bad, in my eyes, right now, but a revisit is in order.

Probably mostly smooth at this point. Takeoff at BOS might be bumpy (no way around that), due to winds, but you'll climb quickly and it'll just smooth out once you climb high enough and get a bit southward. Then it's looking favorable for a fairly smooth flight, although some light might be in order, slim chance of moderate for the rest of the way, if things stay on track, including both ATL and LAS.

    Safe flight.

Great! I'll look forward to enjoying flying now and not on turbulence. Thank you so much. I'll post my return flight on Friday later.

I loved this forecast as it gave some time frames of what to expect during the flights. The first flight from BOS was bumpy throughout (light turbulence). The pilot did not communicate to the passengers and the seatbelt sign stayed eluminated throughout the flight. It was a "hold on and hope it doesn't get worse" flight.

We had a really smooth takeoff and climb out from ATL. No memorable turbulence to speak of. The pilot did inform us of the turbulence in the area and turned on the seat belt sign, however it stayed smooth.
