Depart at 1pm on an erj-190. Given the weather in TX, i'm assuming a bumpy takeoff but one should never assume. Thanks in advance!

Probably not as smooth as your last flight in, but perhaps not that bad, I'm not very certain on this one. Best to check the mobile site this time. I'd say a bit of light is in order journey wide, rougher in TX.

Yikes! Rough makes me nervous. I'll study the maps for sure.

I think we are headed towards the same for Texas (moderate), but the eastern half might be better tomorrow than it is today. Tough forecast to see clearly.

I'll be honest, I'm paralized with fear right now. Any update you can give in the am before deptart time would be appreciated.

No worries, it's much better now. Some light, possibly moderate out of TX, and it's really smoothed out, out east.

Thanks for the last minute update. I read it at the gate and it immediately calmed me down. The departure was smooth until we hit the storm clouds. Moderate turbulence until passing above the clouds. The flight smoothed out but a few minutes later we encountered more moderate turbulence and climbed to 380 where the air was calmer. The ERJ-190 isn't that big so it might have been a smoother ride or at least less dramatic if it was a larger plane. We stayed at 380 and the remainder of the flight was pretty smooth. On a descent, a major drop caught everyone off guard. All in all, I would say I was lucky for such a smooth flight overall given the weather.

    Thank you again......

jetBlue is great, but I would avoid the ERJ-190's if I could. Just too small for a four hour flight. TV was great though! The pilots on both legs were very communicative and changed altitudes for our comfort.

The A320 is 170k lbs to the ERJ-190's 100k lbs. I can imagine this makes a big difference in movement. Glad it worked out.
