I have just joined, but have been obsessed with TF for months! I travel for work all the time but am a really nervous flyer, so I love this website.

I am flying from Atlanta to NYC (La Guardia) on Thursday morning - any insight as to possible turbulence?

I'm glad you like the site.

As for your trip, I think you might be concerned with all the activity lately, but I think by Thursday, your flight should be relatively smooth. I'll revisit again tomorrow for another look, but it's looking ok for now.

Thanks so much - I am sorry, I just realized I used a different format for my e-mail. I'll get it right next time! I'll look forward to your reply tomorrow. Thanks again.

It's just easier to check for outstanding forecasts if the dates are first. No worries.

I don't think it'll be as rough as you are seeing in the Midwest, as the jet stream is weakening, but I do think some light turbulence is possible at times, and a small chance of some moderate chop is possible, but overall, not so bad.

Thanks so much. Could be worse, I guess - it has not been a good week for us anti-turbuelence people!
