For PIT to DFW, takeoff looks ok, lightly bumpy climb out. Flight proper looks ok at first, lightly bumpy to smooth, perhaps a moderate bump or two. The flight path looks to be on the edge of smoother and rougher air, so you could be in and out of the bumps.
Near, and in and out of DFW, probably going to be a little bumpy, moderate, hopefully you're in and out before weather.
Flight for DFW to LAS, bumpy start, light to moderate over Texas and New Mexico, perhaps a bit of a break for part of the remainder, then a lightly bumpy descent into LAS, good landing.
Morning! It looks to me like our flight path for AA762 was changed to fly more to the north then turn south instead of the typical PIT-DAL flight path. And that change looks like it takes us into worse turbulence. Looking at it again, does this change your forecast from last night?? Maps are not looking pretty! If you are able to look again, many thanks!
Morning! PIT-DFW was quite interesting yesterday. Seemed like they flew in to and towards the more turbulent areas instead of going south. It was quite bumpy for the first half then storms into DFW made the approach into Dallas interesting. DFW-LAS was also turbulent out of Dallas for the first 30 mins due to all the storms in the area, then smoothed out the entire way into Las Vegas. Gorgeous views when the clouds went away. Nothing was more than moderate on either flight. Thanks for the forecast. See you Saturday for the trip home!
