Flying to Chicago tomorrow afternoon and am really stressing about the landing b/c it looks like thunderstorms will be rolling in right about that time. Hoping you can let me know what to expect. Thanks.

Storms are usually well avoided, should be good unless you stray near. There isn't much upper atmosphere turbulence so you have room to fly around and above with no problem.

You were right again. We just barely beat a massive thunderstorm in. There was lighting around the plane as landing but smooth. Three minutes after we landed the sky opened up. We are now on the ground but not able to pull up to the gate because of the storm. Wow, can't believe we made it by three minutes!
