Hello again, I will be flying to Rome from New York's JFK airport Sunday June 24th at 5:45pm on Alitalia. Can you please provide details on any possible areas of turbulence? Long flights always make me extra nervous (and tired as I never sleep on a plane).

Should be fairly nice, with occasional light bumps over the US and occasional light bumps continuing through to about the halfway point of the ocean crossing. Perhaps some very occasional moderate bumps if you fly more to the north, the further south you fly the better. At about the halfway point or so it should smooth out for nice second half of the flight until just short of VCE, light to moderate for the rest of the flight as you approach the western border of Italy.
