CAT and jet stream charts

I have a transatlantic flight looming in a couple of weeks, so just wanted to clarify whether the CAT potential charts take into account jet stream, or should the jet stream be considered an additional cause of bumps?

Thanks

The CAT charts do take in account the jet stream, in fact, that's what most of the CAT maps are, and most if not all CAT is jet stream related.

I've found the best indicator for transatlantic flights is this page (check both high and low, and check out the different time periods.):
http://www.turbulenceforecast.com/europe.php

Look and see how closely related the advisories are compared to the jet stream.

I wish we had this for the US though.

When your flight is a day or two away, post a message on the forecast requests and we'll see how smooth or bumpy it will be.
